Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will attempt to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new Terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Zero-Tolerance Policy

We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward violent, abusive, or intimidating behavior. If you or anyone in your party exhibits such behavior, we reserve the right to refuse to carry out or complete the service. This may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid.

Our Equipment

Please note our equipment may include flashing lights, UV lighting, and loud music.

You may be held liable for any loss or damage to our equipment. Failure to maintain our property in good condition could result in a non-refundable deposit.

While our Inflatable Nightclub is weatherproof, parties are weather-permitting due to health and safety considerations. In the case of heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds, or snow, we may, as a goodwill gesture, accommodate your request to reschedule.

Under 18s

Under-18s must be supervised by an adult at all times, who will be responsible for their actions. On-Board Occasions does not accept responsibility for underage drinking or the use of illegal substances.

Payment

We accept Mastercard Credit, Visa Credit, and Visa Debit cards. Full payment and deposit must be made before your booking is accepted and confirmed.

Deposit

A deposit of £100 is required for all bookings. This deposit is fully refundable with at least 7 days’ notice of cancellation. Failure to notify us within this timeframe may result in a non-refundable deposit.

Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund if you provide at least 7 days’ notice before the date of your booking by contacting us via email using the subject line “Cancellation.” Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:

• If you change your mind after making your booking.

• If you miss your allocated time slot due to unforeseen circumstances.

• If we are unable to make changes to your booking as requested by you.

• If the setup cannot proceed due to weather conditions that were not permitting upon arrival.

Arrival

Our staff require access through a side entrance, back gate, or garage. We do not transport equipment through residential interiors. If access is not available as required, this may result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Please inform us of any parking restrictions, obstructions, or security measures (e.g., padlocks or coded gates) in advance.

Ensure the setup location is clean and free from animal feces.

Alterations to Your Booking

If you change your event location to a destination significantly farther than the original, additional fees may apply.

COVID-19 Policy

In the event of a national lockdown prohibiting household mixing, you will receive a credit to reschedule your event. No refunds will be issued.

If the hirer contracts COVID-19, we do not provide refunds. However, we may, as a goodwill gesture, offer to reschedule your booking if full payment is received.

Sudden Changes & Cancellation Policy

On-Board Occasions reserves the right to cancel any booking with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice due to personal emergencies, unforeseen circumstances, or other urgent matters.

In such cases:

• A full refund of payments made will be issued.

• Where possible, we will offer to reschedule your booking to a mutually convenient date.

We appreciate your understanding. Communication will be prioritized in such events.

Disclaimer

All individuals use On-Board Occasions equipment at their own risk. The hirer is responsible and liable for any injury or damage resulting from misuse. These guidelines are for safety, and the hirer must ensure they are followed.

On-Board Occasions is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damage to personal property arising from the use of the inflatable nightclub or our equipment. Risks include slipping, tripping, falling, or structure movement due to weather or guest behavior.

The inflatable nightclub is for entertainment purposes only and is used at your own risk.

The hirer is also responsible for damage, excessive mess, or misuse. A cleaning or repair fee may apply.

If alcohol is consumed, the hirer must ensure its safe and legal use. We reserve the right to deny access to anyone who is visibly intoxicated or poses a safety risk.

By completing your booking, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and waive any claims against On-Board Occasions.

You also confirm the equipment is received in clean, working condition and agree to return it in the same state.

Property Access Waiver (All Venues)

By confirming your booking, you grant On-Board Occasions team members permission to access and transport equipment through the premises of your event location, including but not limited to residential properties, schools, community centres, businesses, private venues, or any other designated site.

Where no suitable external access (e.g., side gate or rear entrance) is available, our team may need to transport equipment through internal areas of the premises. While our staff will exercise the utmost care and professionalism to avoid damage, you acknowledge and accept that a small risk exists when moving large or heavy equipment through any indoor or confined space.

On-Board Occasions will not be held liable for any accidental damage to flooring, walls, doorways, fixtures, or furnishings during the process of transporting, setting up, or removing equipment on-site. It is your responsibility to ensure that access routes are safe, clear, and suitable for equipment delivery.

You agree to:

• Notify us in advance of any access limitations, restrictions, or security features (e.g., coded gates, parking constraints, tight doorways, staircases).

• Ensure that the event location is clean, safe, and unobstructed at the time of delivery and collection.

• Accept responsibility for any repairs or costs arising from damage caused by restricted or unsuitable access.

Site Suitability and Right to Refuse Delivery

The Hirer is responsible for ensuring that the designated site for the inflatable nightclub is suitable, safe, and accessible for delivery, installation, and operation. On-board Occasions reserves the right to refuse delivery or setup if, upon arrival, the site is deemed unfit for purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, the following conditions:

• The ground is covered in snow, ice, standing water, mud, or is otherwise hazardous.

• The surface is uneven, sloped, or unstable, posing a risk to the structure or equipment.

• Obstructions are present, including overhead cables, low-hanging branches, or confined spaces that prevent safe installation.

• The site is inaccessible due to poor terrain, restricted access, or unsafe surroundings.

• The electrical supply is unsafe, insufficient, or presents a risk of damage to On-board Occasions’ equipment.

If, in the reasonable opinion of On-board Occasions, the site is unsuitable or poses a risk to health, safety, or equipment, delivery and/or setup may be refused. In such cases:

• The full hire fee may still be chargeable, as our team has been dispatched and costs incurred.

• On-board Occasions may, at its discretion, offer to reschedule or relocate setup where feasible, subject to availability and additional charges.

It is the Hirer’s responsibility to consult with On-board Occasions in advance regarding site conditions and to ensure the site complies with all requirements outlined by the Company.
